When the new Executive Order that makes recreational activities more flexible and the reopening of certain commercial sectors comes into force today, Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced issued a warning for those who do not comply with protection measures, particularly on the beaches.
“Any person or business that does not follow the provisions of the OE in and near the beaches, will be subject to fines and business closures. The interagency team will be focused on these areas to ensure compliance, ”the president published through her social networks.
With the new Executive Order, citizens will now be able to visit the beaches without the previous restrictions that were limited to allowing only sports practices. However, the first executive stressed that bathers must maintain a social distancing of 6 feet and comply with the mandatory use of masks out of the water.
It is important that protective measures are followed. Any person or business that does not follow the provisions of the OE in and near the beaches, will be subject to fines and business closure. The interagency team will focus on those areas to ensure compliance. pic.twitter.com/bVE3ugmG0N
