Health registers two pediatric patients in intensive care because of COVID-19

He Health Department reported today, Saturday, 347 hospitalizations due to COVID-19 in Puerto Rico, according to the agency’s digital dashboard.

According to the tool, of these, 53 adult patients remain confined in an Intensive Care Unit. Likewise, two pediatric patients are also under these conditions.

However, one of the pediatric patients uses a ventilator as do 30 other adults as well.

Thus, the Health digital dashboard has reported 4,132 adult hospitalizations and 455 pediatric ones.

This morning, Health reported seven deaths and 209 confirmed cases of coronavirus on the island.

To date, there have been 728 deaths from the virus, 548 of these confirmed and 180 probable.
