Health reports 14 additional deaths from COVID-19

The Department of Health reported today 14 deaths additional due to COVID-19 that occurred between December of last year and this month of January, as indicated in its report that it issues daily.

The agency noted that the total deaths reached 1,717. The number is divided into 1,432 confirmed deaths and 285 probable.

In addition, 121 new confirmed cases of coronavirus by molecular tests (RT-PCR) positive. The total of confirmed cases adds up 82,378.

Similarly, Salud reported 37 new probable cases detected through antigen testing. The total of probable cases increased to 6,135.
