Health reports 14 deaths and 292 additional cases of Covid-19 | government

The Department of Health reported in its report 14 additional deaths from Covid-19, as well as 292 new positive cases between confirmed and probable.

According to the agency, the deaths reported today occurred between December and January, bringing the total to 1,717 since the emergency began in March last year.

Meanwhile, it was indicated that the total of new infections includes cases with samples taken from January 4 to January 18.

  • 75 year old man
  • 78-year-old woman

Aguadilla region

On the other hand, the total number of cases confirmed by molecular testing (PCR) now amounts to 82,378 after adding 121 cases.

Probable cases total 6,135 with 37 new cases.

Meanwhile, 134 suspected cases put the total number of infections by positive serological test at 63,188.

On the other hand, the Health ‘dashboard’ reflected 331 hospitalized for Covid-19, 20 fewer patients in the past 24 hours.
