Health reports 4 deaths from COVID-19 and 879 confirmed cases

The Department of Health reported today 4 deaths additional for COVID-19, as indicated in its report that it emits daily.

The agency noted that the total deaths reached 1,592. The number is divided into 1,323 confirmed and 269 probable deaths.

According to Salud, the four deaths correspond to a 67-year-old woman from the Arecibo region, an 86-year-old man from the Mayag├╝ez region, a 56-year-old man from the Aguadilla region and a 52-year-old man from the region of Bayamon.

In addition, 879 new confirmed cases of coronavirus by molecular tests (RT-PCR) positive. The total of confirmed cases adds up 76,726.

Similarly, Salud reported 218 new probable cases detected through antigen testing. The total of probable cases increased to 5,341.

He also reported 509 new suspected cases, these by positive serological tests. The total of suspected cases increased to 57.768.
