Health reports five additional deaths from COVID-19

The Department of Health reported today 5 deaths additional due to COVID-19, which occurred during this month of January, as indicated by the agency in its report that it issues daily.

The agency noted that the total deaths reached 1,783. The number is divided into 1,499 confirmed deaths and 284 probable.

In addition, 354 new confirmed cases of coronavirus by molecular tests (RT-PCR) positive. The total of confirmed cases adds up 85,551.
