Health reports four deaths and 234 confirmed cases of Covid-19 | government


The Department of Health report reported four deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 234 confirmed cases and 125 additional probable cases were registered.

With this, they add to 808 deaths and 63,497 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began.

The reported deaths were classified as confirmed and are broken down below:

– 89-year-old woman from the Bayamón region

– 55-year-old man from the Bayamón region

– 60-year-old woman from the Aguadilla region

– 68-year-old man from the Bayamón region

With these additional deaths, the confirmed deaths total 616 and the probable ones are 192, making the total number of deaths 808.

On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 32,461, of which 17,479 are women and 14,982 are men. The total of confirmed cases was adjusted after adding 29 cases with a sampling date from April 28 to October 12. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of October 13 to 24.

As part of the report, 125 additional probable cases were registered, with a sampling date that includes October 13-24. In this line, the total is 31,036 after being adjusted, by subtracting 32 cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report; In addition, six cases were added with a sample collection date from May 23 to September 28. Probable cases are divided into 17,323 women and 13,713 men.
