Health reports four deaths and 679 additional cases of Covid-19 | government

The Department of Health reported in its report four additional deaths from Covid-19, as well as 679 new positive cases between confirmed and probable.

With this, the cumulative number rises to 177,430 cases, between confirmed and probable, since the pandemic began.

According to the agency, the deaths reported today occurred in January and February, bringing the total to 1,983 since the emergency began in March last year.

Meanwhile, it was indicated that the total number of new infections includes cases with samples taken from February 6 to February 20.

On the other hand, the total number of cases confirmed by molecular testing (PCR) now amounts to 91,680 after adding 150 cases.

Probable cases total 7,577 with 40 new cases.

Meanwhile, 489 suspected cases put the total number of infections by positive serological test at 78,173.

On the other hand, the report reflected 233 hospitalized for Covid-19, 16 additional patients in the past 24 hours.
