Health reports one death from coronavirus and 318 confirmed cases

He Health Department reported today a death by COVID-19, 318 confirmed casessy 272 probable cases additional.

The death, listed as confirmed, corresponds to a 82 year old man from the Arecibo region.

With these additional deaths, the confirmed deaths total 562 and the probable ones are 181, so the total deaths is 743.

On the other hand, the total confirmed case results is 27,947, of which 15,041 are women and 12,906 are men. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of October 1 to 12.

Meanwhile, the 272 additional probable cases have a sampling date that ranges from October 1 to 12. In this line, the total is 28,138 after subtracting 26 cases that subsequently had a positive molecular test and were added to the cases registered as part of this report. In addition, five cases were added with a sampling date from July 17 to September 17. Probable cases are divided into 15,716 women and 12,422 men.
