Health reports three deaths and 126 confirmed cases of Covid-19 | government


The Department of Health report reported three deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 126 confirmed cases and 63 additional probable cases were registered.

With these new cases, there are 738 reported deaths, and 54,540 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began.

The reported deaths were classified as confirmed and are broken down below:

– 62-year-old woman from the Caguas region

– 81-year-old man from the Caguas region

– 64-year-old man from the Metro region

With these additional deaths, the confirmed deaths total 557 and the probable ones are 181, so the total number of deaths is 738.

On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 27,139, of which 14,624 are women and 12,515 are men. The total was adjusted after adding 10 cases with a sampling date from September 22 to October 2; in addition, a duplicate case was subtracted. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of October 5 to 10.

As part of the report, 63 additional probable cases were registered, with a sampling date that ranges from October 5 to 10. In this line, the total is 27,401 after being adjusted, by subtracting seven cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report; In addition, 116 cases were added with a sampling date of April 14 to October 4, and a duplicate case was subtracted. Probable cases are divided into 15,285 women and 12,116 men.
