Hospitalizations and intensive patients for COVID-19 increase in Puerto Rico


Hospitalizations for the COVID-19 coronavirus in Puerto Rico increased by more than ten in the last 24 hours.

According to the digital dashboard of the Department of Health, from yesterday to today about 16 people had to be hospitalized, raising this figure to 573.

Of these, there are 92 people in intensive care, one of these patients being a minor. On this area, there are five more people than yesterday.

Like hospitalizations and intensive care, ventilator patients reported an increase of five people for a total of 78.

Currently on the Island there are about 43,403 accumulated confirmed coronavirus cases and 767 confirmed deaths.
