THE CAPITOL – The House of Representatives defeated House Joint Resolution 100 which was intended to fund the consultation to elect statehood lobbyists.

“RCC-100 DEFEATED, a measure which was intended to finance the consultation to elect lobbyists for statehood in Washington DC. 12 votes against, 2 votes in favor, “wrote the President of the Chamber through his Twitter account.

The votes in favor were cast by the representatives Eddie Charbonier Chinea and José Pérez Cordero.

According to the list, the former presidents of the Chamber, Carlos “Johnny” Méndez Núñez and José Aponte Hernández did not cast a vote.
