Hundreds of people from the Mita Congregation say goodbye to their spiritual leader, Aaron


Signs of solidarity, affection, friendship and respect distilled during the wake of Teófilo Vargas Sein, better known as Aarón, leader of the Mita Congregation.

Hundreds of parishioners, politicians and artists visited the congregation’s temple since last Tuesday, January 19, to attend religious services offered during the night.

With an invocation by the preacher Edwin Rios The doors of the place were opened at 1:00 in the afternoon, to offer the religious service accompanied by the songs of the Wind Band, Harp Group, String Band and the Choir of the Mita Congregation.

According to a press release, among the personalities who today gave a message of honor to Aaron, was José Alfredo Hernández Mayoral.

They also ensured that a work team ensured compliance with the health protocols, attentive to the fact that all the public when entering the temple went through the process of screening the temperature and disinfectant.

In addition, they indicated that security personnel prevented people from crossing and crowding at the entrances and exits during the religious service.

On the other hand, the ceremony was projected through various monitors so that everyone could have more access to the message.

After mass, at about 2:00 in the afternoon, Aaron’s remains were transported to the mausoleum, located on Duarte street, in Hato Rey, to bury him.

The closing prayer was offered by the preacher Oscar Rodriguez and the final message will be delivered by the new leader of the Mita Congregation, Rosinín Rodríguez Pérez.
