In 10,123 confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 on the Island | government

The Health Department report reported two deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 93 confirmed cases and 24 additional probable cases were registered.

With this, there are 10,123 confirmed and probable cases.

The additional deaths, both confirmed, correspond to a 48-year-old woman from the Arecibo region and an 82-year-old man reported in the Metro region. With these additional fatalities, the total confirmed deaths add up to 73 and the probable deaths remain at 96, so the total deaths are 169.

The total of the results of the confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 2,904. Of that total, 1,457 are women and 1,447 men; however, the total was adjusted by adding a case with a sampling date of June 8. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample date of July 6 to 11.

On the other hand, 24 additional probable cases with a sample collection date of June 29 to 11 were recorded. July 2020. In this line, the total is 7,219, after being adjusted, by subtracting three cases that had a positive molecular test, subsequently, and added to the cases registered as part of this report. Similarly, a duplicate case was subtracted. Probable cases are divided into 3,875 women and 3,344 men.
