The Health Department report reported an additional death from Covid-19 and there were 188 confirmed cases and 109 more probable cases.
With the report of these new cases, there are 11,453 confirmed and probable cases of the virus in the Island.
The additional death, cataloged as confirmed, corresponds to a 57-year-old man, reported by the Ponce region. With this additional fatality, the confirmed deaths add up to 81 and the probable deaths remain at 97, therefore, the total number of deaths is 178.
Health highlighted in its daily report that the change in the number of deaths should not be interpreted as these have occurred in the last 24 hours.
The total of the results of the confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 3,461. Of that total, 1,748 are women and 1,713 are men. However, Salud reported that the total was adjusted by adding a case with a sample collection date of June 6.
Confirmed reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of 1 to July 15.
On the other hand, 109 additional probable cases were registered, with a sample collection date of July 9 to 15, 2020. In this line, the total is 7,992, after being adjusted, by subtracting three cases that had a positive molecular test, subsequently, were added to the cases registered as part of this report. Likewise, 38 cases were added with sampling dates from May 12 to June 26. Probable cases are divided into 4,227 women and 3,621 men.

On the other hand, Salud stated that in the dashboard presentation yesterday, eight additional molecular cases were awarded to the municipality of Vieques. After investigating the situation and maintaining communication with the mayor, said cases were adjudicated to the corresponding municipalities, because they were wrongly located.
