
The Health Department report reported three deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 235 confirmed cases and 172 additional probable cases were registered.
With this, they add up to 13,473 confirmed and probable cases.
Meanwhile, the agency reported in its 'dashboard' 442 hospitalized by the virus, which represents a 27 hospitalizations increase compared to yesterday's figure.
Of the 442 people hospitalized, there are 56 patients in intensive care and 40 with ventilators. No pediatric patient is hospitalized for the virus.
The fatalities reported today were listed as confirmed. They correspond to a 58-year-old woman from the Bayamón region and two men, 56 and 77 years from the Caguas and Metro regions, respectively.
With the additional fatalities, the total confirmed deaths are 87 and the probable deaths remain in 101, therefore, the total of deaths is 188.
On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 4,574, which was adjusted by adding nine cases; one with a sample collection date of June 23 and eight with a sample collection date of July 2. Of this total, 2,305 are women and 2,269 men. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of July 3 to 20.
On the other hand, 172 additional probable cases were registered, with a sample collection date from 13 to July 20, 2020. In this line, the total is 8,899, after being adjusted, by subtracting 15 cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report. Similarly, 34 cases were added with a sample collection date from June 18 to July 2. Probable cases are divided into 4,849 women and 4,050 men.
