In 325 the number of hospitalized by Covid-19 | government

The number of hospitalized for Covid-19 increased to 325, three more compared to yesterday’s figure, according to the Health Department website.

A minor in intensive care since last September 8 remains connected to a ventilator. Health has only reported that it is a teenager.

Meanwhile, 50 adults are in intensive care and 35 are connected to a ventilator.

In Puerto Rico, 3,071 adult beds, 208 intensive care beds and 818 ventilators are available, as well as 945 pediatric beds, 65 intensive beds and 115 pediatric ventilators.

On the other hand, 37 municipalities have a positivity rate greater than 10%, another 30 have a positivity between 5% and 9.9%, and seven have between 3% and 5%.

There are four municipalities with a positivity rate of less than 3%: Yauco, Guayama, Vieques and Culebra. The latter is the municipality with the fewest reported cases since the emergency began in March, with 17.

The island today exceeded the threshold of 700 deaths, after the Department of Health reported nine additional deaths. The total reported deaths now stand at 705, of which 528 are confirmed and 177 are probable.

Salud also reported 23 confirmed cases and 12 probable cases, now totaling 25,658 confirmed cases and 26,110 probable cases.
