The number of hospitalized for coronavirus (Covid-19) increased to 349 in the most recent update of the Department of Health, seven more compared to yesterday’s figure.
A minor in intensive care for the virus since September 8 remains connected to an artificial respirator. Health has only indicated that it is a teenager.
Of the hospitalized adult patients, 64 remain in intensive care and 37 are on a ventilator. This last figure reflected an increase of five compared to yesterday’s total, when it amounted to 32.
The country’s health system currently has 3,093 adult beds, 191 intensive care beds and 778 ventilators. There are 963 pediatric beds, 63 intensive care beds, and 119 ventilators.
The Department of Health today reported 514 confirmed cases, 343 probable and two deaths, for a total of 22,697 confirmed and 23,607 probable. Of the 644 deaths, 473 are confirmed and 171 are probable.
