In 364 coronavirus hospitalizations on the Island | government

The number of hospitalized for coronavirus (Covid-19) decreased to 364 in the most recent update of the Department of Health, 12 less compared to yesterday’s figure.

A minor in intensive care for the virus since September 8 remains connected to an artificial respirator. Health has only indicated that it is a teenager.

Of the hospitalized adult patients, 64 remain in intensive care and 32 are on a ventilator. This last figure reflected a reduction of three compared to yesterday’s total, when it amounted to 35.

The country’s health system currently has 3,002 adult beds, 195 intensive care beds and 778 ventilators. There are 907 pediatric beds, 62 intensive care beds, and 121 ventilators.

The Health Department today reported 708 confirmed cases, 519 probable and 10 deaths, for a total of 21,156 confirmed and 22,686 probable. Of the 627 deaths, 456 are confirmed and 171 are probable.
