In 378 coronavirus hospitalizations on the Island | government


The Department of Health reported today on its portal 378 patients hospitalized for Covid-19, an increase of 51 compared to yesterday’s figure.

Three pediatric patients remain hospitalized in intensive care for the virus, while two of them are connected to a ventilator.

Meanwhile, 58 adults are in intensive care and 36 are connected to a ventilator.

To date, the country’s health system has 3,144 beds for adults, 188 intensive care beds and 746 ventilators. It also has 959 pediatric beds, 61 intensive care beds and 131 pediatric ventilators.

Health reported today 239 confirmed cases, 208 probable infections and an additional death. With this, there are 58,643 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began. Meanwhile, deaths total 769.
