In 42,660 accumulated confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 | government

The Department of Health report reported four deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 36 confirmed cases and 26 additional probable cases were registered.

With these new cases, there are 617 reported deaths, and 42,660 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began.

The reported deaths were classified as confirmed and are broken down below:

– 74-year-old man from the Fajardo region

– 59-year-old man from the Metro region

– 81-year-old man from the Arecibo region

– 84-year-old man from the Bayamón region

With these additional deaths, confirmed deaths total 447 and probable deaths remain at 170, making the total number of deaths 617.

On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 20,439, of which 10,895 are women and 9,544 are men. The total was adjusted after adding four cases with a sampling date of August 27. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of September 15 to 20.

As part of the report, 26 additional probable cases were registered, with a sampling date that ranges from September 10 to 20. In this line, the total is 22,221 after being adjusted, by subtracting two cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report. Probable cases are divided into 12,350 women and 9,871 men.
