In 430 hospitalizations for Covid-19 on the Island | government

The Department of Health reported on its portal today 430 patients hospitalized for Covid-19, a decrease of 30 compared to yesterday’s figure.

There is only one pediatric patient hospitalized for the virus. Last night, the death of the 17-year-old teenager who had been in the intensive care area for a month, connected to a ventilator, was reported.

Meanwhile, 60 adults are in intensive care and 39 are connected to a ventilator.

The country’s health system currently has 2,732 beds for adults, 214 intensive care beds and 761 ventilators. It also has 891 pediatric beds, 67 intensive care beds and 134 pediatric ventilators.

The agency’s latest report reported two deaths from Covid-19; Meanwhile, 276 confirmed cases and 122 additional probable cases were registered, for a total of 398.

With this, the deaths reached 822 and the confirmed and probable cases accumulated to 66,128.
