In 46,304 accumulated confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 | government

The Department of Health report reported two deaths from Covid-19; meanwhile, 514 confirmed cases and 343 additional probable cases were registered.

With these new cases, there are 644 reported deaths, and 46,304 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began.

The two deaths were classified as confirmed and correspond to two men, aged 84 and 79, from the Arecibo and Metro regions, respectively.

With these additional deaths, the confirmed deaths total 473 and the probable ones are 171, so the total number of deaths is 644.

On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 22,697, of which 12,150 are women and 10,547 are men. The total was adjusted after adding 23 cases with a sample collection date from May 19 to September 8; in addition, four duplicate cases were subtracted. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of September 14 to 24.

As part of the report, 343 additional probable cases were registered, with a sampling date that ranges from September 14 to 24. In this line, the total is 23,607 after being adjusted, by subtracting 63 cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report; In addition, five duplicate cases were subtracted and 83 cases were added with a sample collection date from May 1 to September 12. Probable cases are divided into 13,125 women and 10,482 men.
