In 66,128 accumulated confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 | government


The Health Department report reported two deaths from Covid-19; Meanwhile, 276 confirmed cases and 122 additional probable cases were registered, for a total of 398.

With this, the deaths reached 822 and the confirmed and probable cases accumulated to 66,128.

The reported deaths were classified as probable and correspond to two men, ages 81 and 70, both from the Metro region.

With these additional deaths, the confirmed deaths add up to 626 and the probable deaths are 196, so the total number of deaths is 822.

On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 34,138 of which 18,368 are women and 15,770 are men. The total of confirmed cases was adjusted after adding nine cases with a sampling date from August 11 to October 16. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of October 19-28.

As part of the report, 122 additional probable cases were registered, with a sampling date that includes October 19-28. In this line, the total is 31,990 after being adjusted, by subtracting 25 cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report; In addition, three cases were added with a sampling date of August 14, 15 and 21. Probable cases are divided into 17,849 women and 14,141 men.
