According to the investigation, while 20-year-old Kevin Iván Acevedo was driving a Honda Accord vehicle, when he arrived at the aforementioned address, he found a Toyota Tercel vehicle, which was going against traffic in the same lane and was hit with the front end. of the same.
The Toyota vehicle then moves to the right and hits a metal barrier, the driver being ejected and landing in the green area.
The person, who has not been identified, was assisted by paramedics at the scene, who transported him to the Mennonite Hospital in Cayey. He was treated and referred to the Río Piedras Medical Center in critical condition.
While Acevedo was taken to the Hospital Menonita de Cayey and is in stable condition. Both drivers were tested for blood alcohol.
