VIEQUES (CyberNews) – A young man is in critical condition after receiving several gunshot wounds, in an incident reported on Friday night, in the Monte Santos 8th street neighborhood in Vieques.
According to preliminary reports, the victim’s mother – who is a minor – alleged that upon arriving at the scene she heard several detonations and realized that her son had been shot in different parts of the body.
The woman transported the minor to the Vieques Diagnosis and Treatment Center, where he was treated and referred to the Rio Piedras Medical Center in critical condition.
Agents attached to the Fajardo Criminal Investigation Corps investigate.
