In more than 56 thousand accumulated confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 | government

The Health Department report reported a death from Covid-19; meanwhile, 318 confirmed cases and 272 additional probable cases were registered.

With these new cases, there are 743 reported deaths, and 56,085 confirmed and probable cases accumulated since the pandemic began.

The death, cataloged as confirmed, corresponds to an 82-year-old man from the Arecibo region.

With these additional deaths, the confirmed deaths total 562 and the probable ones are 181, so the total number of deaths is 743.

On the other hand, the total of the results of confirmed cases of Covid-19 is 27,947, of which 15,041 are women and 12,906 are men. The reported cases are those that have a positive PCR test, with a sample collection date of October 1 to 12.

As part of the report, 272 additional probable cases were registered, with a sampling date that ranges from October 1 to 12. In this line, the total is 28,138 after being adjusted, by subtracting 26 cases that had a positive molecular test, later, and were added to the cases registered as part of this report; In addition, five cases were added with a sampling date from July 17 to September 17. Probable cases are divided into 15,716 women and 12,422 men.
