INprende and DDEC offer virtual workshops during the International Entrepreneurship Week

San Juan – The Entrepreneurship Week begins with the offering of virtual workshops programmed by the Program for the Development of Youth of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DDEC) and INprende, in coordination with the business ecosystem of Puerto Rico, as announced on Monday , the secretary of the DDEC, Manuel Laboy Rivera.

“Starting today, and throughout this week, virtual workshops will be offered for all those interested in starting a business or developing the one they have already created. We firmly believe that promoting entrepreneurship is key to revitalization and economic development around Puerto Rico. That is why we have promoted it from the beginning of our government management. We are pleased to join forces with INprende again and with multiple entrepreneurs, to walk together in that direction. We invite you to connect to take the virtual workshops, which will help you develop the mechanisms necessary to be successful. They will include topics such as e-commerce, personal brand and entrepreneurship 2020, ”Laboy Rivera said in written communication.

The workshops will take place from Monday, November 16 to Friday, November 20, from 4:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon.

For his part, Roberto Carlos Pagán Santiago, director of the Youth Development Program, explained that “in order to continue promoting entrepreneurship, we will also hold 13 virtual meetings with students from different public schools, which will include topics on cultivating an entrepreneurial mentality , personal finance and leadership. Because for us it is very important to promote entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship from an early youth. And many young people have already achieved it with great success, ”said Pagán Santiago.

“In Entrepreneurial Dialogue, young people will be able to join the conversation to receive tools that allow them to face daily challenges with greater agility.
