
AGUADILLA – Three people with undefined immigration status were detained at 1:53 am on Sunday, about two nautical miles off the coast of Aguadilla, police said.
The Maritime Police Unit intervened with a boat of about 26 feet in length, with a Yamaha 60 engine, blue color, where three men were traveling.
The police intervention took place as part of a preventive maritime patrol.
Personnel from the Coast Guard, FURA and Border Patrol, took charge of the people.
