Windy weather conditions are expected today with good sun and little rain in the morning, and scattered showers in the interior and west of the island in the afternoon reported on National Weather Service which is still pending the potential development of Invest 92 L, which could become the Isaías storm.

The conditions will be similar today and until tomorrow in the afternoon hours of tomorrow, while A tropical wave that leaves general rains for the entire island must pass through the island on Monday night and Tuesday, explained meteorologist David Sánchez.

For today, on the coasts there is a high risk of marine currents on the north coast of Puerto Rico, while small boat operators must exercise caution for waves of up to 6 feet and winds of up to 20 knots.

After the tropical wave between Monday and Tuesday, the next phenomenon to be p the invest 92 L is still with 90% cyclonic development in 5 days and could become a storm or hurricane, Sánchez said.

The direct and indirect impacts are still uncertain because there is still uncertainty in the trajectory of Invest 92L, but everything indicates that by the end of this week it would be close to the Caribbean, said the SNM meteorologist.

The meteorologist recalled that the trajectory forecast has a margin of error of 200 miles to 5 days. “Puerto Rico is 100 by 35, imagine what can vary,” he said.

He added that there is still no official forecast for the trajectory because it has not yet developed into a tropical depression. This could happen between tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday.

Sánchez said that the message to citizens in the hurricane season, not only now, is to have your emergency plan and continue to monitor the media and future reports from the National Hurricane Center and the National Weather Service.

If it becomes a storm, the phenomenon will acquire the name of Isaías, he specified.
