Catano – The Police reported on Monday about an incident that occurred around 11:45 in the morning, in the National Stores located on 4th Street in Palmas Industrial Park in Cataño.
According to the police report, one of the employees who was operating a heavy machine (digger), allegedly hit a roll of fence tubes, which, in turn, collided with other tubes that fell on José Moró Rodríguez, 57, which caused a trauma and an open head wound, which caused his death minutes later.
Agent Miguel González, assigned to the Cataño district, preliminarily investigated the incident.
Agent Ramón Torres from the Bayamón Homicide Division and prosecutor Carlos Peña joined the investigation.
