A man who was driving a motorboat died at about 10:15 pm on Thursday night on Luis Muñoz Rivera avenue in front of Popular Center in Hato Rey, the Police reported.

According to the preliminary report, Ransis Omar Ginés Torres 30, was waiting at the stoplight of the avenue on a Vento motorboat red and white color when it was hit in the back by the vehic ulo Nissan Rogue, white color.

It was driven by Laura Liz Del Pilar Rodríguez 45, and resident of San Juan.

As a consequence of the impact, Ginés Torres died at the scene .

Del Pilar Rodríguez had an alcohol breath test and dropped .019 percent.
