
AGUADILLA- A man died at about 10:55 in the morning of Saturday in an accident with a light aerial vehicle, in the coastal area of the Parque Colon in Aguadilla, the Police reported.
According to the report, a former police officer identified as Fernando Lassalle Arocho, 55, a resident of the Montehiedra Urbanization in San Juan, was flying a paraglider in the aforementioned place.
A citizen told the authorities that he saw the moment in which the Paraglider had mechanical problems and fell into the water. The man was rescued and taken to shore, where he was given first aid. He was taken by paramedics from State Medical Emergencies to the Buen Samaritano Hospital where they certified his death.
