Man is killed in a Santa Isabel business

The Police reported on Friday that at around 9:49 in the morning, a murder was reported in a business in the Paso Seco neighborhood, in Santa Isabel.

According to the police report, a 9-1-1 emergency system call about a gunshot wound in a business. Agents assigned to the Santa Isabel District, went to the scene and found the man's body, which had multiple bullet wounds to the body.

The man was identified at the scene by a relative as Gilberto De Jesús Alvarado, 36, resident of Santa Isabel.

Agent Rebecca Rosado of the Ponce Homicide Division, together with the prosecutor Ada Torres, are in charge of the investigation. The scene was worked by the agent Gamalier Pedroza Negrón of Technical Services.
