McDonald's in Cabo Rojo closed positive for Covid-19 | PRESENT

The company Arcos Dorados ordered the closure of the McDonald's restaurant in the municipality of Cabo Rojo until further notice, after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19).

“The company activated the isolation protocol to all employees of the restaurant and will be following medical recommendations, "reported the operating company of the McDonald's franchise on the island.

Given this, Arcos Dorados reported that it notified the Health Department and coordinated a disinfection of the establishment by a supplier of professional cleaning service.

"McDonald's continues to be committed to its customers and employees, under its McSeguros hygiene program, which prioritizes continuing to apply strict standards of sanitation, cleanliness and quality to protect all people who visit its establishments" the company added.

McDonald's joins other establishments that have closed in the past few days after hearing of cases positive among their employees. Meanwhile, others have closed by order of the Health Department, after failing to comply with sanitation measures to prevent the transmission of Covid-19.
