Men will pray at the Capitol | Present

On January 16, 50 members of the group Hombres en Cristo, will meet in the rotunda of the Capitol in Puerta de Tierra, to have a prayer and meditation meeting for Puerto Rico and its leaders.

The activity will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and senators and representatives have been invited.

“It is good news, there are 50 men of different ideologies who are united by their ideal in Christ and the welfare of the people. We will pray for those who are going to lead the country for the next four years ”, explained Monsignor Wilfredo Peña, parish priest of the Santa Bernadette Parish to which the group belongs.

At the meeting they will pray the rosary and dedicate their mysteries to Governor Pedro Pierluisi, to the resident commissioner in Washington Jenniffer González, senators, representatives and mayors.

“It was an initiative of men and I have structured it as their spiritual guide. This is in light of the fact that Pope Francis will dedicate 2021 to Saint Joseph and proclaim it as the year of the family ”, he commented to THE SPOKESMAN.
