Miguel Romero wants to improve the “ranking” of San Juan in the publications of best places to live

SAN JUAN – The candidate for mayor of San Juan for the New Progressive Party (PNP), Miguel Romero, said on Saturday that he will seek to improve the qualifications that the Capital City has in different publications.

Romero Lugo reacted to the publication of the US News that places San Juan in position 150 as one of the best places to live. According to Romero Lugo, the study also ranked San Juan at number 89 as one of the best places to retire and at number 1 as the most dangerous and most expensive place.

“The reality is that the problem is present. The important thing is to recognize it and not get diluted in the current position. We must focus on finding one of the first positions and, for that, we must stabilize the city, fix our road and electrical infrastructure, clean and beautify the city and increase security, among other initiatives of great relevance, “said the candidate in written statements. .

“San Juan has the capacity to be the most important destination in Puerto Rico and one of the best cities to live. We have to focus our efforts on economic development, security, infrastructure and community integration, as part of the efforts that allow our Capital City to shine again ”, he added.
