Minor has been hospitalized for a month for Covid-19 | government

The number of hospitalized for Covid-19 woke up at 315, 10 less compared to yesterday’s figure, according to the Health Department website.

A minor in intensive care for a month remains connected to a ventilator. Health has only reported that it is a teenager.

Meanwhile, 48 adults are in intensive care and 26 are connected to a ventilator.

In Puerto Rico, 3,010 adult beds, 195 intensive care beds and 812 ventilators are available, as well as 913 pediatric beds, 64 intensive beds and 111 pediatric ventilators.

Meanwhile, 37 municipalities have a positivity rate greater than 10%, another 32 have a positivity between 5% and 9.9%, and six have between 3% and 5%.

There are three municipalities with a positivity rate of less than 3%: Yauco, Vieques and Culebra. The latter is the municipality with the fewest reported cases since the emergency began in March, with 17.

Guayama, which yesterday was among the municipalities with a positivity lower than 3%, today has a positivity of 5.6% with 11 positive cases to date.

The Health Department reported today 10 deaths, 340 confirmed cases and 179 probable cases. There are now 26,010 confirmed cases since the emergency began in March, while the probable cases amount to 26,284.

The total number of reported deaths is 715, of which 536 are confirmed and 179 are probable.
