CAGUAS – On the occasion of Troubadour Week, the Department of Cultural Development of the Autonomous Municipality of Caguas and Decimanía Inc., will carry out the 21st edition of the Typical Creole Festival virtually, which will be dedicated to Mr. Ricardo Alegría on the occasion of his centenary , the singer-songwriter from the San Salvador neighborhood, María Isabel Rodríguez, and the winner of the troubadour of the year from the Institute of Culture, Guersom Báez.
The event will feature a meeting of troubadours and teachers from Caguas, the musical group of Mariano Jurado “Juradito”, María Isabel Rodríguez “Chabela”, Guersom Báez, Gabriela Vélez and Isidro Fernández and a greeting from Trovadores del Mundo. The transmission will be through the Facebook page of the Autonomous Municipality of Caguas on October 10, 2020 at 6:00 in the afternoon.

As we have done with other events, we are using the advantages of technology to bring culture and entertainment to citizens, but respecting and applying the rules of social distancing.
