RIO GRANDE – The Police reported on Monday about a murder that was reported at around 10:30 in the morning, on the PR-3 highway, kilometer 25.9 in the direction of Fajardo towards Río Grande, jurisdiction of Río Grande.
According to the police report, a man who was driving a black Mitsubishi Mirage was shot by unknown persons and was hit with injuries to different parts of the body.
It was reported that he has not been identified. He was evaluated on the spot by paramedics, but he no longer had vital signs, inside the vehicle apparently in the driver’s seat.
According to information provided, there is one lane for vehicular flow in the direction of Fajardo to Río Grande and another in the opposite direction. At the moment it has not been indicated that the transit will be closed to carry out the investigation.
Agents, attached to the Fajardo Homicide Division, investigate the events together with the prosecutor on duty.
