
Soldiers of the Puerto Rico National Guard (GNPR) rescued this afternoon 25 people trapped by the floods caused by the tropical storm Isaías in the Sábalos neighborhood, in Mayagüez.
Amongst the rescue workers Three children and several people are bedridden, the GNPR confirmed to this report.
Another group of soldiers is also heading to the Buena Ventura sector of Mayagüez to rescue two other families trapped by the floods. Among those affected by the rains in this neighborhood are a newborn and another person in bed.
Likewise, the GNPR rescued a bedridden woman and a newborn in Rincón, whose families were also affected by the rains. [19659005]
