Salinas – The Transportation and Other Public Services Bureau (NTSP) of the Public Service Regulatory Board (JRSP) carried out a security operation at the Salinas Weigh Station, it was reported on Friday.
“This type of operation has the main purpose of ensuring that commercial vehicles that travel on public roads in the country comply with all the requirements of state and federal laws,” said the president of the NTSP, engineer Jaime Lafuente in written communication.
Lafuente added that “in addition to making sure that the vehicles comply with the requirements of the law, we seek that their conditions are optimal. This, in order to avoid accidents that endanger the lives of drivers, as well as those who travel on the roads ”.
NTSP agents conducted about 70 inspections in which various security flaws and irregularities were found in various commercial transportation vehicles.
Complete inspections were carried out, which include the safety components of the vehicles, as well as the review of the drivers’ documentation.
