Police ask for help to find “Wasa”


They offer a reward of 25 thousand dollars to whoever offers information that helps to capture this fugitive

San Juan – The secretary of the Department of Public Security, Alexis Torres requested on Friday citizen cooperation to find the whereabouts of Carlos Cotto Cruz, known as Wasa, who is a suspect in several violent crimes.

“In collaboration with federal authorities, we are seeking the collaboration of the people of Puerto Rico to arrest this subject, who is presumed armed and dangerous. Precisely this week the Department of Justice indicted Cotto Cruz and six other people on charges of murder, conspiracy and violations of the Arms Law. We request that any person who has information that helps us to reach the suspect, inform us in a confidential way, ”said the secretary of the DSP, in written statements.

On the other hand, the Police Commissioner, Antonio López Figueroa, indicated that the fugitive, 33, has been described as a man with white complexion, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 155 pounds with eyes and hair. Brown.

Officials reported that the Federal Agency for Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF, for its acronym in English) offers a reward of $ 25,000 to anyone who offers information that helps to capture this fugitive.
