The elected mayor of Ponce, Luis Irizarry Pabón, received today, Monday, his second dose of the vaccine that is expected to stop the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
“Thus completing the immunization process, today I received the second dose of the vaccine to prevent the COVID -19 virus. As a physician and mayor-elect, health is and will continue to be a priority. For the good and care of all, get vaccinated too”Said Dr. Irizarry Pabón on his social networks.

On the other hand, General José Reyes of the Puerto Rico National Guard stated earlier that during the past week some 90,000 doses of the vaccine were received in Puerto Rico.
“Some 70,000 have been administered,” Reyes said at a press conference.
He explained that 30,225 vaccines were also received from Pfizer. During Monday 18,100 doses of Pfizer and about 2,000 of Moderna were distributed.
