Public employees must remain this Thursday in their homes

Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced indicated that, due to the atmospheric system that is leaving rains around the island, public employees will not have to report to work tomorrow, Thursday .

“Employees who they are working remotely, they must continue working from their homes. Those who are already working face-to-face will be able to work remotely and excuse themselves tomorrow. Vázquez Garced made the announcement from the Bureau for Emergency Management and Disaster Administration (NMEAD) together with his interim commissioner, Nino Correa, and the National Guard's assistant general, José Reyes.

The president urged citizens to remain in their homes because the system still remains over the local area, but to exercise caution when leaving their homes in be necessary and be ready in case they have to evacuate in flood areas. Likewise, he added that the curfew does not apply if it is an emergency case.
