Public Security sends 46 employees to preventive isolation | government


The secretary of the Department of Public Security (DSP), Pedro Janer, announced today that 46 employees were sent to isolation, after another of his colleagues tested positive for Covid-19, after having been exposed outside his center of

Janer explained that, upon becoming aware of the situation, the necessary actions were immediately taken so that the personnel working on the same floor as the affected employee, as well as anyone with whom they may have been in contact , undergo the Covid-19 molecular test.

The tests were coordinated for tomorrow, Thursday and Friday, according to availability.

The 46 employees sent to preventive isolation will perform their functions remotely, until they obtain negative results.

"It is important to mention that, in the DSP we take all measures to protect the personnel and we urge them to keep prevention efforts out of their workplace," explained or Janer.

Tomorrow a disinfection process will be carried out on the different floors of the Department of Public Security, including those where the affected employee does not work.

“This process had been carried out previously, as part of the protocols cleaning and prevention measures, ”said Janer.
