SAN JUAN – The Puerto Rican singer Melina León, who participates in the television talent competition “Tu cara me suena” that Univision broadcasts, revealed this Thursday that she is admitted to a Miami hospital “but stable”, after testing positive for covid-19.
Through his Facebook page he also gave thanks for the prayers to him for a speedy recovery and asked that they continue to do so “to get out of this soon. I love them”.
On Tuesday León, in the same way, revealed and thanked his followers for their messages of support, as well as the production of the television program “for being aware of his health at all times.”
The singer of the hit “Mujeres liberadas” affirmed on Tuesday that Univisión’s production “has been very strict with the protocols” against COVID-19, to the point that last week they carried out the test twice.
The Colombian singer Llane and the Mexican actress Sandra Echeverría, who participate in the television space, also tested positive.
Univision indicated, for its part, that its “priority is the health and safety of our teams, participants and the community. Our Global Security team puts into practice the most recent standards and procedures against covid-19 that have been formulated by different government agencies at the national and local level ”.
“We are working on taking additional security measures and will announce more details when they are finalized,” the chain stressed.
When announcing her confirmation that she had the virus, Melina León revealed on Tuesday that during rehearsals to sing the song “Volverte a amar” by Mexican Alejandra Guzmán, she “felt suffocated but I thought it was something in the air that was affecting ”.
In addition, his plan was to record a music video, but due to some symptoms he had, including fever and cough, he had to cancel it.
“It is a painful process and more when I am away from my home and away from mine. I am taking vitamins and hydrating to combat it ”, he added.
And in the face of the situation, the artist urged people to take care of themselves.
