Puerto Rico adds 1,583 confirmed coronavirus cases and 5,339 probable

The Department of Health reported no deaths today from coronavirus while it recorded four confirmed cases of infection and 22 additional probable cases .

Without added fatalities, the total of probable deaths is 94 and the confirmed deaths remain at 57, so the total of deaths is 151 .

At the time of the agency issuing the report, Four confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded, for a total of 1,583 . The results of confirmed cases correspond to 782 women and 801 men. Confirmed cases are those who have a positive PCR (molecular) test.

Furthermore, an additional 22 probable cases were recorded. In this line, the total is 5,339 after adding 19 cases with a sample date of May 8 to June 4. Of the probable cases, 2,823 are women and 2,516 are men. Probable cases are those that test positive for a (rapid) serological test.
