Puerto Rico adds 21 additional deaths from COVID-19


The Department of Health reported today 21 deaths additional for COVID-19, as indicated in its report that it emits daily.

The agency noted that the total deaths reached 1,679. The number is divided into 1,397 confirmed deaths and 282 probable.

In addition, 108 new confirmed cases of coronavirus by molecular tests (RT-PCR) positive. The total of confirmed cases adds up 79,114.

Similarly, Salud reported 78 new probable cases detected through antigen testing. The total of probable cases increased to 5,702.

He also reported 177 new suspected cases, these by positive serological tests. The total of suspected cases increased to 60,303.

Meanwhile, the dashboard Health adds that due to coronavirus there is 407 hospitalized people, 37 of these pediatric patients, and 73,760 convalescent.

In addition, it indicates that there are 51 adult patients and 1 pediatric patient in intensive care by COVID-19. It also mentions that 61 adults are connected to a ventilator due to the virus.
