Faced with the detection of a positive case of COVID-19 on the Cadena Radio Universidad, its director, Dr. Rosa Delia Meléndez, points out that the employees who had contact with the infected person are in quarantine, according to the protocol established by the University of Puerto Rico and the Department of Health.

On the morning of Monday, April 12, personnel from the Office of Environmental Protection and Occupational Safety (OPASO), of the Río Piedras Campus of the University of Puerto Rico, will be carrying out the necessary cleaning and disinfection work at the station.

At the moment the newscast “Hoy en la Noticias”, which is broadcast live from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 8:00 am, will not go on air, until further notice. Likewise, the general programming of the station will be previously recorded.
